Handover of motor vehicles from the US grant in the South Base



Примопредаја моторних возила из донације САД у бази ЈугOn the occasion of the tenth anniversary of cooperation between the Serbian Armed Forces and the Ohio National Guard, General Ljubisa Dikovic, the Serbian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff, Major General Mark Bartman, Ohio National Guard Adjutant General, with associates, Lieutenant General Milosav Simovic, Army Commander, and other senior representatives of the Serbian Armed Forces, have paid a visit to the South Base and Army Pre-Deployment Training Centre, today.
 
On that occasion, a ceremonial handover of five motor vehicle for the needs of the Centre, donated by the United States, was performed.
 
Handing over the keys of the vehicles, General Bartman wished the members of the Serbian Armed Forces every success in their future work.
 
Lieutenant Colonel Bratislav Vukotic, Commander of the Army Pre-Deployment Training Centre thanked for the donation and said that the vehicles will significantly improve the mobility of the Centre and the level of services that this unit provides to the beneficiaries.
 
In the Simulation Centre, the guests from the Ohio National Guard where shown the multiple integrated laser engagement system (MILES), medical simulator for medical training and virtual battlespace simulator VBS 3, which are also the US donation and are used for training of units for participation in multinational operations.
