Seminar on Contract Management
In the Material Resources Sector, organized by the Department for Defence Technologies, a seminar entitled ''Contract Management" was held. The lecturers were from the Centre for Civil-Military Relations from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, USA, and the activity was organized under the auspices of the International Defense Acquisition Resource Management (IDARM).The Seminar was attended by 23 participants from the organizational units of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, whose work involves tasks related to contracting and procurement in the field of acquisition of arms and military equipment. Within five days, they will
have the opportunity, through theoretical precepts and examples of good practice to be introduced to the basic principles and their application in the field of defence procurement, with particular emphasis on procurement planning, defining the requirements in contracting, drafting contracts and pre-contractual documentation and actions and procedures in monitoring the implementation of the already signed contracts.This is the sixth year of cooperation with the Centre for Civil-Military Relations from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey in organising seminars and workshops in the field of acquisition of arms and military equipment and defence procurement.
