Minister Djordjevic attends filming the third season of "Military Academy"
Defence Minister Zoran Djordjevic at the Military Academy today visited the team filming the third season of the eponymous series, which attracted the attention of viewers in the previous two seasons.
The new season of the series, which will consist of 12 episodes, is jointly produced by the Ministry of Defence, the Serbian Armed Forces, Serbia Broadcasting Company and the "NIRA" production company.
The filming began on May 10 at the premises of the Military Academy and will run until 10th June, when the team continues filming in the "civilian" environment.
Meanwhile, training and tactical exercises of cadets in the areas of Bubanj potok and Deliblato Sands will be filmed and, near the end of the shooting, it has been planned to shoot the scenes and frames of airplanes and helicopters at the Batajnica airport.
- If all goes according to plan, the shooting will be completed in the first half of August – Dejan Zecevic, Director of the "Military Academy" says, pointing out that he was satisfied with what was recorded in the previous three weeks, adding that the audience will not be disappointed by what follows in life of the main heroes of the series.
- We offer a lot of new contents, keep track of the heroes in the new life circumstances, and we have new cadets with their life stories - Zecevic says and announces a number of twists in the story.
Tijana Pecencic, an actress, which is now a young lieutenant, not wanting to reveal the details, announces that the character she plays will have a lot of challenges and milestones that she will have to deal with.
Expert consultant on the series, Lieutenant Colonel Zeljko Novovic, recalls that the Military Academy engaged 1053 persons for the purpose of shooting the series and that the shooting so far was completed at 28 locations, with eight remaining.
