5th CISM Training Camp on Kopaonik
Presenting awards to the best individuals in the disciplines of slalom and giant slalom, at the military ski training area at Kopaonik concluded the competitive part of the 5th winter camp organized by the Delegation of the Republic of Serbia to the International Organization for Military Sports (CISM), and the Section for Military Sports of the Military Academy."The Winter Training Camp Kopaonik" will be held until 16th March, and the Slovenian military national team participates along with the Serbian Armed Forces national ski team.
This camp was organized as a preparation for the upcoming 2017 World Military Championship in Sochi, so that the Serbian and Slovenian national teams took advantage of good weather conditions to observe the achieved level of practice to create a plan for the next stage of preparations which will be held next year in Slovenia and Italy, just before the World Championship.- This has been one of the best organized camps so far and I wish to commend the Ski Resorts of Serbia, MK Risorta and the Municipality of Raska, for exceptional helpfulness; thanks to their help we had ideal conditions for training, said Lieutenant Colonel Dragan Todorov, Head of the Department for Military Sports at the Military Academy and member of the Serbian Delegation to CISM.
