Defence Minister received future defence representatives
Minister of Defence Bratislav Gasic talked to the eight officers that are to take over the duty of defence representatives in eight countries in the course of the next few months.Minister advised them to be worthy representatives of the Republic of Serbia and to be the spokesmen for the interests of the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Serbia.
“You are the officers who have been chosen after a careful selection to be our representatives in the next three years. You have been distinguished by your qualities, and we need you to come back with results “, Minister pointed out.
Minister Gasic told the future representatives to pay special attention to representing capacities of the University of Defence, Military Medical Academy, CBRN Centre, overhaul facilities and the Peacekeeping Operations Centre.Starting this year, Serbia will, for the first time, have military representatives in Brazil, Poland, Angola and the UAE, while the remaining four will take over regular duty in China, Romania, Algeria and Croatia.
The future representatives have been preparing for the new duty since September 2013.
