Reception of 2025 Best Warrior Competition participants



The Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, received today members of the Serbian Armed Forces who competed at the Best Warrior Competition in the United States of America, achieving great success.  
They competed against soldiers and non-commissioned officers from the Ohio National Guard and the Hungarian Defence Forces, taking first and fourth places in the soldier category and the fifth and eighth places in the non-commissioned officer category.  The winner of the competition was Corporal Nikola Ivković, a member of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade, who was promoted to sergeant in the meantime.  

General Mojsilović emphasized that with their successful performance at the competition, where they had used weapons and military equipment of the U.S. Armed Forces, our service members had demonstrated a high level of competence and praised them for the skills and physical and mental strength they had demonstrated, as well as for their motivation to present their units and the Serbian Armed Forces in the best light possible.
The Chief of the General Staff pointed out that participation in competitions like that, served the purpose of promoting the competence, resourcefulness, determination and resilience of the Serbian soldier, and that it contributed to strengthening cooperation, understanding and trust between service members of partner countries.  

The Best Warrior Competition was held at the beginning of the month at Camp James A. Garfield in Ohio and it included a series of events that tested the soldiers’ physical and mental abilities and technical and tactical skills. This is the third time members of the Serbian Armed Forces have participated in the Best Warrior Competition in the USA.
