Sports meet between Serbian, Hungarian high-ranking officers

The traditional sports meet between generals/high-ranking officers of the Serbian Armed Forces and the Hungarian Defence Forces was held today at the Sports Centre of the Football Association of Serbia in Stara Pazova.
Serbian and Hungarian teams played a futsal match in a friendly atmosphere, and the SAF team emerged victorious.
The host team was led by the Deputy Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, Lieutenant General Tiosav Janković, and the visiting team by the Chief of the Hungarian Defence Forces' Training Directorate, Brigadier General Gábor Sánta.

This was the 16th sports meet between Serbian and Hungarian generals and high-ranking officers. The event has been alternately held in Serbia and Hungary since 2015.
Sporting events are just one of numerous bilateral defence cooperation activities aimed at enhancing operational capabilities and interoperability, and strengthening mutual trust, reflecting an upward trend in the relations between Serbia and Hungary.
