Assistant Minister Bandić meets with Czech Czech Defence Policy Director
Acting Assistant Minister for Defence Policy Predrag Bandić met today with a delegation from the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic, led by Martin Riegl, Ph.D., Czech Defence Policy Director at the Defence Policy and Strategy Division.
During the meeting, the two officials exchanged views on the political and security situation in the Balkans. In light of significant changes in the security situation in the world, they emphasized the importance of continuous political-military dialogue, with the aim of maintaining peace and stability.They also noted that the cooperation between the Czech Republic and Serbia, which has a historical basis in the traditionally friendly relations between the two nations, is in an upward trend, and highlighted the two countries’ mutual commitment to strengthening defence cooperation.
