New class in stationary camp

The new class of military service volunteers (March 2025), who have been assigned to basic training centres in Sombor, Valjevo and Leskovac, are currently doing stationary camp at the Serbian Armed Forces training areas.
Stationary camp is an important part of the first training phase, during which soldiers of all specialties gain practical experience in performing basic defensive and offensive combat tasks and become accustomed to living and working in the field.

At the training areas, the soldiers are practicing tactics and procedures such as navigation, observation, camouflage and movement on the battlefield. They are also learning how to select and build shelters and carrying out firing practices using infantry weapons in accordance with the training program.
Although they have been in the army for only a few weeks, the young soldiers demonstrate great commitment and are highly motivated to master the entire training program, and many of them have already expressed their interest in becoming professional soldiers of the Serbian Armed Forces.

Once they complete camp, the soldiers will be submitted to a skills assessment, and then transferred to specialist training centres. There, they will continue to train and learn how to use their branch / service-specific combat assets and military equipment.
Those interested in joining professional military service can apply right away so as to complete the admission procedure in time and become eligible to join the ranks of professional members of the Serbian Armed Forces immediately after completing their military service.
