Minister of Defence gifts orchids, cards to all women in defence system
On the occasion of the International Women’s Day – March 8, Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić has gifted orchids and cards to all female members of the Ministry of Defece and the Serbian Armed Forces.
All women employed at the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, female cadets, military school student and military service volunteers have been presented with gifts from the Minister of Defence, accompanied by expressions of great respect and gratitude for their hard work, effort, commitment and professionalism in everything they do for the defence system. The aforementioned gifts have also been presented to female patients who are being treated at the Military Medical Academy.On behalf of the Minister of Defence, orchids and card have been presented to women by unit commanders at the Serbian Armed Forces and heads and managers of organizational units at the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces.
March 8 – International Women’s Day is a reminder of the fight for women’s rights and economic, political and social equality between women and men.
