Minister of Defence meets with Russian ambassador
Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić met today with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Serbia, H.E. Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko.
At the meeting, Minister Gašić expressed his gratitude to the Russian Federation for supporting the territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia. He underlined Serbia’s firm commitment to pursuing an independent foreign policy. 
According to him, despite all the challenges, the Government will remain committed to the policy of peace and cooperation, as well as to upholding international law and fully adhering to the agreements reached so far. He also said that maintaining neutral status was our country’s long-term strategic commitment.
Ambassador Botsan-Kharchenko thanked Minister Gašić for his hospitality and the opportunity to discuss defence cooperation.
