MoD, SAF delegation at AERO INDIA 2025



A delegation from the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, led by Brigadier General Slavko Rakić, Head of the Defence Technologies Department, Material Resources Sector, has visited the Republic of India to participate in India’s largest air show and defence exhibition - Aero India 2025, which is being held in Bangalore and at the Defence Ministers’ Conclave BRIDGE 2025”.
  The Serbian delegation had the opportunity, in the presence of the Indian Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces officials and more than 80 foreign delegations, to familiarize themselves with contemporary trends in the field of weapons and military equipment. In addition to the stands of numerous companies, Aero India 2025 hosted a static exhibition of aircraft of the domestic and foreign armed forces at Yelahanka Air Force Station, while the dynamic display showcased the Indian aircraft, as well as the Russian SU-57 and the American F-35.
 
At the defence exhibition, meetings were held with representatives of the host country’s and foreign partners’ aviations and armed forces, and representatives of defence industry companies, to explore opportunities for more intensive cooperation.
 
At the ministerial meeting chaired by Indian Minister of Defence Rajnath Singh, the efforts that India and its defence industry are putting in the development and modernization of the Indian Armed Forces were presented. Both foreign officials and the host highlighted their contribution to strengthening mutual cooperation and ensuring peace and stability in the region and the world.
  It was conveyed to the Indian side that the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces remain committed to further strengthening bilateral defence cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
