Tour of Army units and 608th Logistics Base



The Deputy Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, Lieutenant General Tiosav Janković, has visited several Army units and the 608th Logistics Base located in the garrison of Kraljevo and the garrison town of Gornji Milanovac.
  During his two-day tour, he inspected the situation in these SAF units, spoke with soldiers and leaders and received reports from commanders and leaders on the degree of completion of primary tasks.
 
General Janković started the tour in Petar Leković Barracks in Požega, where he inspected the condition of the facilities where war reserves are stored and essential maintenance is performed, as well as the training facilities used by members of the 22nd Infantry Battalion and military service volunteers. He then visited the Technical Overhaul Institute in Čačak, where he inspected the organization of work and the facilities used for the overhaul, repair and modernization of tracked vehicles, telecommunication equipment and complex combat systems.
 
He continued his tour by visiting the units of the Second Army Brigade stationed in Ribnica and Jovan Kursula barracks in Kraljevo, where he checked the quality of training for members of tank, artillery and reconnaissance units.
  The Deputy Chief of the General Staff’s tour also included visits to the units of the 608th Logistics Base in Gornji Milanovac and Bogutovačka banja, where he determined that all requirements for the storage and essential maintenance of explosive ordnance had been met and that the unit members were highly motivated and fully trained for the execution of unit-specific tasks.
