Future logisticians in training
Soldiers of the December 2024 intake are currently undergoing individual specialized training at the Logistics Training Centre to prepare for their future logistics jobs in the Serbian Armed Forces units.
This centre, whose branches are located in the garrisons of Kraljevo, Kruševac and Niš, provides training for soldiers of over 20 military occupational specialties in the field of logistics, as well as for professional members of the Serbian Armed Forces.During this part of their military service, which lasts for a month and a half, soldiers are doing theoretical and practical training necessary to perform tasks in the field of technical, quartermaster, medical and transportation services.
The training is being conducted in specially equipped labs, in the field and on combat and non-combat equipment. The aim is to teach soldiers the skills required for handling weapons and military equipment, performing basic maintenance, and carrying out tasks relating to general logistics, medical care and transportation.When the December class finishes their specialized training at the end of February, their skills in carrying out individual military tasks will be assessed. The next stage is collective training and active involvement in the life and work of the Serbian Armed Forces units.
During that period, the soldiers can apply for admission to professional military service and undergo the necessary procedure to become eligible to join the ranks of professional members of the Serbian Armed Forces immediately after completing their military service.
