The Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, received today the team consisting of members of the Special Purpose MP Detachment “Kobre”, who delivered excellent performance at the UAE SWAT Challenge 2025, a prestigious international Special Forces competition held in Dubai last week.
In the competition that included 103 strong teams from 46 countries, members of the Serbian Armed Forces took 20th place, demonstrating top tactical and marksmanship skills, great team work, concentration and physical and mental stamina.

General Mojsilović has said that the “Kobre” team, who ranked best of all Serbian teams in the competition, have shown excellent performance and great competence, and commended them for the skills, motivation, and physical and mental strength they have demonstrated. According to him, competitions like this present a great opportunity to promote the skills of Serbian soldiers, competitive spirit and sports in the Serbian Armed Forces, while strengthening cooperation, understanding and confidence among members of elite special military and police units.

For the success they have achieved in the competition, the Chief of the General Staff awarded the "Kobre" team with a seven-day stay in a military resort in Tara Mountain.
Anti-terrorism police teams and tactical hostage rescue units, as well as Special Ops military teams, took part in this year’s UAE SWAT Challenge, a competition hosted by the Dubai Police since 2019. In addition to Kobre, the Serbian national team included members of the Gendarmerie and the Ministry of the Interior Special Anti-Terrorist Unit.
