Visit to SAF members in Ground Safety Zone
Prime Minister Miloš Vučević, accompanied by Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić, visited today members of the Fourth Army Brigade in the Ground Safety Zone to mark the Orthodox New Year.

- For them, there are no holidays, no leave, compared to others who may be absent from work during major festivals and holidays. They have to carry out their tasks regardless of whether it is summer, winter, Christmas, New Year or any other holiday, or whether it is a regular working day, they have to perform their duties every day - said Prime Minister Vučević.
He expressed his belief that through the joint investment of the entire state and with the support of the President of the Republic, the Government, the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, better conditions would be created for our armed forces, and that they would continue to strengthen thanks to the best equipment, weapons and uniforms provided for them.

Minister Gašić commended the members of the Serbian Armed Forces who, during the holidays and away from their families, carry out their tasks in the Ground Safety Zone conscientiously and responsibly.
- Thank you very much for everything you do for the Serbian Armed Forces, the Republic of Serbia and our citizens. We deeply appreciate your effort, professionalism and patriotism, and I am glad to see that morale is high, as always. I would also like to thank Prime Minister Vučević for the help that the Government of Serbia is providing, with the wholehearted support of the President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces, Aleksandar Vučić, in an effort to make our armed forces stronger, more modern and better equipped, and our service members more content with their jobs and living and working conditions. We will continue to work together to make the situation even better - said Minister Gašić and extended best wishes to all members of the Serbian Armed Forces and citizens celebrating the New Year according to the Julian calendar.
