Minister Gašić brings badnjak into Ministry of Defence building



Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić brought a badnjak (oak branch) into the Ministry of Defence building today.
On that occasion, he wished a merry Christmas to all believers who observe this Christian holiday according to the Julian calendar.

- In the spirit of this festive occasion, I wish all members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces a joyful Badnji dan, and may the Christmas Eve bring them good health, joy and prosperity. I hope they will continue to carry out all their tasks with resolute dedication, while safeguarding the peace and security of our homeland – said Minister Gašić.
 
According to him, it is important to foster the traditions of our people, and members of the armed forces are always with their people, responsibly performing all the tasks assigned to them by the state and military leaders.
  The event was attended by Acting Secretary of the Ministry of Defence Nebojša Nikolić and Acting Assistant Minister for Human Resources Siniša Radović.
