New Year’s Message from Minister of Defence
Dear members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces,
We are saying goodbye to a year of hard work, but also of great results. Each of you has put in a lot of hard work, effort and sacrifice in achieving those results, and the foundation of it all is the love of our only motherland – Serbia.
We are entering 2025 stronger, more modern, more numerous, better trained and convinced that the government takes good care of the social security of the defence system members. Let that be your motivation and incentive to continue serving your country conscientiously and professionally and acting as an unbreakable shield against any threat to the freedom of our people.
Many of you will be in your workplaces on New Year's Eve, doing responsible tasks. You should know that my thoughts are with you and your families.
Dear citizens of Serbia,
The trust you place in the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces is the greatest reward for us, but also a great responsibility.
Everything we have done and everything we will do to strengthen the defence of our country is a pledge for a peaceful and secure future for generations to come.
When you make a New Year’s toast to happiness, good health and success with your loved ones, you should also make a toast to the men and women in the uniform of the Serbian Armed Forces who make sure we can sleep peacefully at night.
May 2025 bring good health, joy and progress to the members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces and to all citizens of our country!
