Change of command at NATO Military Liaison Office in Belgrade
The change of command ceremony was held at the NATO Military Liaison Office in the capital of the Republic of Serbia today.
The outgoing Chief of the NATO Military Liaison Office in Belgrade, Brigadier General Giampiero Romano, handed over duties to his successor, Brigadier General Pierluigi Lodola.
At the ceremony, Commander of the Allied Joint Force Command Naples, Admiral Stuart Munsch, said that the partnership between Serbia and NATO was making headway and that NATO respected Serbia’s military neutrality. He pointed out that a lot had been achieved in the Serbia-NATO relationship through the Partnership for Peace programme, and added that the outgoing head of the NATO Military Liaison Office in Belgrade, Giampiero Romano, had done a lot during his time in office over the past two years.
The ceremony was attended by members of the collegiums of the Defence Minister and the Chief of the General Staff, as well as diplomatic and military diplomatic representatives.
