Meeting between ministers Gašić and Kaliňák



Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić met today with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the Slovak Republic, Robert Kaliňák, on the sidelines of Slovak PM Robert Fico's official visit to the Republic of Serbia.  
Ministers Gašić and Kaliňák expressed their satisfaction at the opportunity to meet again in such a short time and discuss the political and security situation in the region and the world, as well as defence cooperation.
 
The two ministers agreed that broadening cooperation in different areas, such as military-to-military relations, military education, military economy and military technology, was of mutual interest, particularly the defence industrial cooperation.
Later today, Ministers Gašić and Kaliňák will attend a plenary session between the Serbian and Slovak delegations, which will be chaired by the President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces, Aleksandar Vučić, and the Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico.
