FK-3 missile system crews undergo regular training
A battalion of the 250th Air Defence Missile Brigade, armed with FK-3 missile systems, is currently conducting regular training for professional members in handling, combat use and basic maintenance of this combat asset.
The purpose of the training is to maintain and further improve the ability of combat crews to prepare and carry out combat action, fully utilizing the capabilities of this modern air defence system.
As part of the complex training, the combat crews are practicing the tactics for the use and maintenance of this system, from marching, emplacement, preparation and execution of firing practices in accordance with specified norms and standards, to functionality testing procedures and fixing potential malfunctions.
This training, which is carried out daily in the battalion along with monitoring and evaluating the crews’ performance, ensures that the unit is fully capable of defending important facilities, SAF troops, and territory from airborne reconnaissance and fire action.
The armament of the 250th Air Defence Missile Brigade, which has the greatest firepower in the air defence system, includes a wide range of air defence systems, from state-of-the-art FK-3 and Pantsir to the modernized Neva and Kub systems, which enables the unit to effectively monitor and protect the airspace of the Republic of Serbia.
