International Civil-Military Cooperation Course completed

International Civil-Military Cooperation Course, hosted by the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff Civil-Military Cooperation Department (J-9), was completed today with the presentation of certificates at the "Tsar Lazar" barracks in Kruševac.
In addition to officers and non-commissioned officers of the Serbian Armed Forces, the course was attended by members of the armed forces of Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Italy, the United States of America and the Netherlands who are engaged in civil-military cooperation, as well as representatives of civilian institutions from the Republic of Serbia.

During the two-week continuation course, they mastered theoretical contents on the responsibilities and activities of civilian organisations in the areas of multinational operations and underwent practical training for work in various positions in teams and units of civil-military cooperation at the tactical level.
The practical and theoretical training was implemented by a mixed team of instructors from the Serbian Armed Forces and the armed forces of Italy, the USA and the Netherlands, as well as guest lecturers from the Emergency Situations Sector of the Ministry of the Interior, the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration and the Serbian Red Cross.

The successful conduct of this international course improved the skills of officers and non-commissioned officers of the Serbian Armed Forces in the field of cooperation with non-military structures, and this was also a good opportunity for sharing experiences with colleagues from other countries.
