Armoured Units Day
The Armoured Units Day – October 31, was celebrated today in SAF units in commemoration of the day in 1941 when the rebels delivered tank fire for the first time during the liberation of Kraljevo battles.
On this occasion, a summary of the armoured branch’s work results and key accomplishments in building operational capabilities were read and awards and recognitions were presented to the most deserving individuals.
It was highlighted that in the upcoming period, the modernization of the branch’s assets would continue, which would secure a high degree of competence and professionalism in soldiers and leaders and ensure that the armoured branch would remain a precise and reliable striking and manoeuvring force of the Serbian Armed Forces.
