Sports meet between officers of Serbian, Hungarian armed forces



In line with the annual bilateral cooperation programme between the Republic of Serbia and Hungary, the traditional futsal match between generals and high-ranking officers of the Serbian and Hungarian respective armed forces was held today in Szeged, Hungary.  
Futsal teams from the two friendly countries showed sportsmanship and fair play during the match, the fifteenth in a row, and this time, the Hungarian team won on penalties.
 
Our team was led by Deputy Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff Lt. Gen. Želimir Glišović and the host team by Director of Staff of the Hungarian General Staff Maj. Gen. Zoltán Somogyi.
  Sports meets between the officers of the Serbian Armed Forces and the Hungarian Defence Forces have been alternately held in Serbia and Hungary since 2015 and are only one of the numerous bilateral cooperation activities aimed at improving operational capabilities and interoperability, as well as at strengthening mutual trust and good neighbourly relations.
