2nd Army Brigade conducts exercise
The 2nd Army Brigade units are currently conducting Exercise Ibar 2024 at the Serbian Armed Forces Simulation Training Centre in Belgrade.
During the exercise conducted in a simulated operational environment, the command and units are being taught to organize and carry out combat actions in operations conducted by the Serbian Armed Forces.
Along with daily analysis reports on the command’s decision-making at all command levels, the computer-assisted exercise focuses on a comprehensive approach to solving complex tasks in the area of operation.
The tactics and staff procedures are being practiced, and the trainees’ knowledge of the rules of employment of units and assets is being assessed, as well as their ability to work in conjunction with the units of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Serbia.
Computer-assisted exercises are an important form of practical training for SAF commands, since they provide opportunities for staff officers and commands to learn how to plan and execute combat operations using a minimum amount of material resources.
