Serbian military hospital personnel rotation in Central African Republic

Members of the Serbian Armed Forces who served in the UN Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) since March, have returned to Serbia after a successful deployment.
As members of the Serbian military hospital personnel, they were responsible for providing the UN forces with primary and secondary health care, emergency surgeries and other interventions, basic dental care and evacuation of the injured.

In the past six months, they successfully completed all their assignments in accordance with the mission’s mandate, confirming that SAF members act according to the highest professional standards of conduct in peacekeeping operations and that our medical personnel possess excellent qualities. They were replaced by new contingent members, who arrived yesterday in Bangui, the capital of the Central African Republic, where our military hospital is located.
The Serbian Armed Forces started contributing medical and non-medical personnel to MINUSCA in 2014. At the moment, Serbian contribution to the mission comprises a fully autonomous and self-sustaining Role 2+ military hospital, as well as staff officers and military observers.
