Artillery Brigade’s combat crews undergo training

Members of the 155 mm NORA B-52 M-15 self-propelled howitzer combat crews are currently undergoing training at the locations where the Mixed Artillery Brigade is stationed and at the ranges near Niš.
The purpose of the training is to maintain the combat crews’ capability to provide artillery support to the Serbian Armed Forces’ evolution units on operations and to train professional soldiers manning these combat vehicles for additional roles in order to ensure replaceability of personnel and enhance the unit’s resilience in combat.

In this training phase, the crews mainly practice reconnaissance and emplacement, the use of automated fire control system and indirect fire, in accordance with effective action norms and standards. The next step is field training and firing practices, where their tactical and firearms skills will be assessed.
The 155 mm Nora B-52 M-15 self-propelled howitzer is a fully automated system characterized by high accuracy and precision of artillery fire, with minimum  emplacement, displacement and data processing time. Its introduction into operational use has significantly improved the unit’s ability to engage targets of tactical, operational and strategic importance.
