President Vučić lays wreath at Memorial Ossuary on Mt. Gučevo
The President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces, Aleksandar Vučić, accompanied by Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić and Chief of the General Staff Gen. Milan Mojsilović, laid a wreath today at the Memorial Ossuary on Mt. Gučevo.
The Battle of Gučevo, better known as the Battle above Clouds, was fought in 1914, during the Battle of the Drina River.The Memorial Ossuary on Mt. Gučevo was erected in memory of the fallen soldiers, and the remains of about 4,000 Serbian and Austro-Hungarian soldiers are buried in it.
After laying the wreath, President Vučić had a meeting with the Minister of Defence, Chief of the General Staff and high-ranking officers of the Serbian Armed Forces.
