SAF soldiers and NCO candidates undergo training
Basic NCO Course candidates and soldiers of the June 2024 intake, who are training at the Army Training Centre for relevant infantry and MP duties in the Serbian Armed Forces units, have completed their field training at the Peskovi Range.
At the range, soldiers and future NCOs have undergone tactical and firearms training, as required by their future duties.
During the field training, the infantry NCO candidates playing the role of a squad leader and a deputy squad leader, alongside soldiers, practiced the battle tactics and procedures and conducted firing practices using the 7.62 mm M-84 machine gun. A special challenge for them was a tactical obstacle course where they were able to demonstrate their skill of rapid and proper response while carrying out tactical actions and defensive and offensive fire missions.
In parallel with them, the future MP non-commissioned officer candidates did a variety of training activities to test their level of skill in counter-terrorism policing and securing areas, directions and military facilities, as well as in handling modern MP weapons and equipment used in the Serbian Armed Forces.
Having returned from the field, future NCOs of the Serbian Armed Forces continue attending their Basic NCO Course, while the soldiers will be assessed for their ability to perform tactical tasks and handle personal and collective infantry weapons in combat in late August.
