Joint Tactical Exercise “Fire Strike 2024”



The active phase of Trial Joint Tactical Exercise Fire Strike 2024 is being conducted at the Training Ground “Pasuljanske Livade”, intended for the practice of combat actions with the employment of unmanned aerial vehicles for reconnaissance and fire support.

The general objective of the exercise is to improve the capability of collecting and distributing intelligence data and fire support effectiveness on the modern battlefield, as well as to check the functioning of the organization and units of the Serbian Armed Forces.

The exercise involves units of the Army, Air Force and Air Defence, special operations and electronic warfare forces, as well as experts from the Military Technical Institute. Approximately 1,500 members of the Serbian Armed Forces and more than 300 combat assets are engaged, including those that are in the process of modernization, development and testing for the requirements of the Serbian Armed Forces.

On the basis of the results and observations from the two-week exercise, doctrinal limitations and requirements for development of new tactical principles will be determined, capabilities for the protection and defence against aerial attacks and simultaneous engagement of various unmanned aerial vehicles will be tested, and the needs to develop new software and hardware solutions will be identified.
