Competition for student scholarships launched
The Ministry of Defence has launched a competition for the award of 43 student scholarships for the academic year 2024/2025. Eligible candidates are boys and girls attending the third and fourth year at medical high schools founded by the Republic of Serbia, an autonomous province or a local self-government.
Students whose GPA is at least 4 (very good) on a five-point grading scale, and 5 (excellent) on the behaviour grading scale each school year will be given the opportunity to get financial support amounting to 30,000-35,000 dinars per month.The Military Health Department, MOD, is offering scholarships to third-year and fourth-year medical school students studying in the following fields: medical technician/nurse, laboratory technician, pharmacy technician and caregiver.
After completing secondary school, the military scholarship recipients will be offered employment as civilian employees in Belgrade, and students who had completed a four-year education before getting employment will complete an internship and take a state license exam.The deadline for students to apply is September 30, 2024.
