Minister Gašić arrives in Azerbaijan for official visit



Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić arrived in Baku today for an official visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan.
He was welcomed at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport by the Rector of the Military Scientific-Research Institute, Major General Arif Hasanov.

Minister Gašić will meet with Minister of Defence of Azerbaijan Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, and the topics they will cover at the meeting will be defence cooperation and possibilities for its enhancement, as well as the current politico-security situation.

Minister Gašić will also meet with Minister of Defence Industry Vugar Mustafayev to discuss the cooperation between the two countries’ defence industries.
Minister Gašić is accompanied on his visit to Azerbaijan by the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces Delegation, including Assistant Minister for Defence Policy Predrag Bandić, Head of the Logistics Department (J-4), SAF General Staff, Maj. Gen. Srđan Petković and Head of the Defence Technologies Department, Material Resources Sector, Brig. Gen. Slavko Rakić.
