Minister Gašić arrives in Republic of Kazakhstan for official visit



Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić arrived today in Astana for an official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Minister Gašić was welcomed at the Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport by Deputy Minister of Defence Maj. Gen. Shaikh-Hasan Satarkululy Zhazykbaev.

Tomorrow, Minister Gašić will meet with Minister of Defence of the Republic of Kazakhstan Col. Gen. Ruslan Zhaksylykov, with whom he will discuss the politico-security situation, bilateral military cooperation and possibilities for its enhancement.

During the course of his visit to Kazakhstan, Minister Gašić will meet with representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Construction to discuss further cooperation between the two countries’ defence industries.  
The Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces delegation, headed by acting Assistant Minister for Defence Policy Predrag Bandić, also includes Head of the Logistics Department (J-4), SAF General Staff, Maj. Gen. Srđan Petković and Head of the Defence Technologies Department, Material Resources Sector, Brig. Gen. Slavko Rakić.
