The exercise evaluated the readiness of this unit drawn from the Third Army Brigade for carrying out tasks as part of the UN peacekeeping force.

Over the past several days, tactical actions conducted by the infantry company in situations likely to be encountered in the AOR were monitored and assessed.

A team of evaluators from the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff assessed the infantry company’s execution of actions and adherence to international training standards that the unit must as a prerequisite for deployment, and the assessment results indicate that the contingent is fully prepared for participation in the mission.
The Serbian Armed Forces started contributing a company-sized infantry unit to UNIFIL in 2013, and the unit carries out its tasks as part of the Spanish battalion.  The Serbian contribution to this UN peacekeeping operation currently comprises a force protection platoon serving with the Italian contingent, staff officers and a group of specialists responsible for providing support.
