Minister Gašić visits “Prvi Partizan” in Užice
Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić visited the ammunition manufacturing factory “Prvi Parizan” in Užice, today.
During his visit, the management and the CEO at “Prvi Partizan”, Dobrosav Andrić, presented Minister Gašić with the company’s operations and its plans for new investments that would facilitate the introduction of new production lines in the factory.
After the meeting with the company management, Minister Gašić took a tour of the small arms ammunition manufacturing facilities, where he was shown some of the equipment procured as part of the facilities modernization project and new investment cycle.
Minister Gašić expressed his appreciation for the company’s attention to investments and development.
- I am happy to see that all production facilities are working at full capacity. I am grateful to the employees of “Prvi Partizan” for working tirelessly to meet the needs of the Serbian Armed Forces. The company’s operations are very important for the economy of Western Serbia – said the minister of defence.
Minister Gašić emphasized the importance of young experts being offered employment in our defence industry. According to him, this is one of our priority tasks.
As part of today’s tour, the minister of defence visited the factory’s newly constructed facilities at a new location.
The minister was accompanied on the tour by Assistant Minister for Material Resources Nenad Miloradović, PhD, and Head of the Defence Minister’s Office Brig. Gen. Goran Momčilović.
