Assistant Minister Miloradović meets with Egyptian Air Force Commander
Assistant Minister of Defence for Material Resources Nenad Miloradović has met with the Commander of the Egyptian Air Force, Lieutenant General Mahmoud Fouad Mohamed Abdelgawad Abdelkader.
The visit is part of continued efforts to strengthen the relationship between the two countries, whose long-term cooperation has been institutionalized through the Joint Serbia-Egypt Cooperation Committee, with special cooperation projects carried out by the two countries’ air forces. The meeting discussed ways to extend the already developed cooperation between the two countries in the field of military economy, with a special emphasis on the complementarity of defence industries, as well as a possibility of establishing cooperation in new fields relating to research and development and weapons and military equipment lifecycle management.
Both parties have agreed that exchanging experiences in the field of multirole combat aircraft maintenance and overhaul and modernization of aerial munition has considerable cooperation potential. Several visits have also been arranged for the upcoming period so that the two countries’ experts could come into direct contact with each other and extend cooperation through concrete joint ventures. 
During the visit, General Abdelkader will get acquainted with the development and research institutions of the Ministry of Defence and take a tour of the Serbian Defence Industry facilities.
