Tactical training of mechanized and tank units
In the Serbian Armed Forces training areas, mechanized and tank units of the 4th Army Brigade are currently going through a cycle of intensive training in undertaking combat action in defensive operations.
Professional members of armoured and infantry units are practicing the use of critical weapons in combat and the execution of assigned tasks in coordinated action, which ensures an effective use of troops in operations and a high level of combat readiness of the brigade.The emphasis is on practicing tactical moves on the march and when encountering an enemy, using tanks and infantry fighting vehicles, combining tactical and fire action on the battlefield.
In the coming period, members of these units will conduct firing practices, followed by tactical exercises and live fire drills at specialized ranges of the Serbian Armed Forces.The joint training of mechanized and armoured units, which are the main manoeuvring force in operations conducted by the Army, helps combat system crews to improve their skills, efficacy and speed of response, as well as the ability of these units to carry out combat operations on their own or in coordination with other units.
