Military doctors provide medical assistance to residents of Pešter villages

This week, members of the Serbian Armed Forces in cooperation with the municipal government of Sjenica carried out a CIMIC project titled “Military Doctor in the Village”, providing medical assistance for the villagers of Raždaginja and Buđevo on the Pešter Plateau.
The goal of the project, implemented as part of SAF’s Joint Tactical Exercise Whirlwind 2024, is to strengthen cooperation and build confidence at the local level and provide assistance to rural residents who face barriers in accessing healthcare services.

On this occasion, military doctors and medical technicians from the 2nd Army Brigade performed preventive health check-ups in provisional infirmaries, and made house calls to patients with limited mobility.
As many times before, members of the Serbian Armed Forces were warmly welcomed by the residents of the Peštar villages, who expressed their gratitude for the assistance provided, saying that they could always rely on the Serbian Armed Forces when in need.

This is not the first time the Serbian Armed Forces have provided assistance to the residents of the Pešter villages and other parts of our country, showing that the relationship with the citizens of the Republic of Serbia is one of their main priorities.
