Military Academy cadets and students of University of Criminal Investigation and Police Studies march together

Cadets of the Military Academy, Defence University, and students of the University of Criminal Investigation and Police Studies, accompanied by their professors and commanding officers, completed a 25 km march across the Deliblato Sands today.
During the march, the second and third year cadets of the Military Academy carried modern T-19 sets of protective ballistic equipment and personal weapons. The Military Academy cadets have recently been supplied with this equipment intended for Special Forces and members of reconnaissance units, in order to provide them with optimum learning conditions and an opportunity to learn about the advantages of state-of-the-art equipment used by the Serbian Armed Forces units.
The march was organized in commemoration of March 24, the Day of Remembrance for the victims of the NATO aggression against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in 1999. To honour the heroes who defended the homeland and the victims of NATO aggression, the cadets delivered speeches on the following topic - Discipline is an Obedient initiative at the Church of Saint Basil of Ostrog and performed the songs "Zavet Kosova", "Generali, generali" and "Prkosna pesma" by Dobrica Erić.

In addition to marking the anniversary of the defence against NATO aggression, the aim of the march was for the students of both universities to exchange experiences and broaden their theoretical and practical knowledge. The Military Academy cadets explained to their colleagues the map and geographic reference, which are the basis of every march.
At the end of the march, the cadets were greeted by members of the support battalion and final year cadets attending the general logistics module, who showed them how to prepare food and get water in the field.
