Exchange of experience on cyber security
This week, a group of cyber security experts from the Serbian Armed Forces visited the federal state of Ohio, USA, to attend a training activity and exchange experiences in this field.
The activity was carried out through Serbia-Ohio State Partnership Program with the aim of exchanging professional experience, strengthening cyber defence capabilities and exploring the possibilities for continued cooperation between the two countries’ professional services.During the visit, Ohio’s cyber security programs, facilities and institutions were presented to members of the Serbian Armed Forces, and they were also given the opportunity to talk to leading experts from these institutions. Together with their colleagues from the Ohio National Guard, they also visited the institute for cyber security education and training at the University of Cincinnati.
During their visit to the USA, the SAF delegation visited the 121st Air Refuelling Wing of the Ohio Air National Guard, together with representatives of the 179th Cyberspace Wing, where they learned about the unit’s primary tasks and activities.This visit was another successful cooperation activity between the Serbian Armed Forces and the Ohio National Guard in the area of cyber defence. Activities like this help enhance the capabilities and interoperability of armed forces, as well as overall military-to-military relations between Serbia and the USA.
