President of Central African Republic lays wreath at Monument to Unknown Hero on Mount Avala
President of the Central African Republic Faustin Archange Touadera, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević and Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff Gen. Milan Mojsilović, laid a wreath today at the Monument to the Unknown Hero on Mount Avala, as part of the Central African Republic president’s official visit to the Republic of Serbia.
After laying the wreath, the President of the Central African Republic wrote the following message in the memorial’s visitor book:
“On my official visit to Belgrade, Serbia, it is with great emotion that I have visited this important place full of symbolism and history testifying to the greatness of Yugoslavia.
Let this heritage left by the former Yugoslavia inspire young people and everyone else to create a more peaceful world with more solidarity between nations”.
Later today, President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić will meet with President of the Central African Republic Faustin Archange Touadera, after which the Serbian and Central African delegations will meet in a plenary session, headed by the two presidents, and the signing of bilateral documents will take place.
