Visit to 11th Infantry Battalion of 1st Army Brigade
Today, Deputy Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff Lieutenant General Želimir Glišović visited the 11th Infantry Battalion of the 1st Army Brigade at the “National Hero Stevica Jovanović” barracks in Pančevo.
During the visit, he inspected the organization of life and work in the unit, the training facilities for professional service members and soldiers performing their military service, as well as the conditions in which materiel and war reserve stock are kept.General Glišović also attended a training activity performed using the assets recently provided for the unit — armoured personnel carriers, anti-tank missile systems and small reconnaissance aerial vehicles, witnessing great competence displayed by the instructors and full commitment demonstrated by the soldiers and leaders in training.
The Deputy Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff was accompanied by Chief of Staff of the Army Command Brigadier General Zoran Dragićević and the Commander of the 1st Army Brigade, Brigadier General Zoran Nasković.
