Infantry soldiers performing military service undergo training
The final training stage for infantry soldiers whose voluntary military service started in September 2023 is underway in Army brigades’ infantry battalions.
During this training period, the soldiers are being taught to perform collective tasks in infantry units, having successfully completed the individual three-month training at the Command Training Centres.In accordance with the training program, they are practicing defensive and offensive tactical actions and procedures on the training grounds, utilizing “Lazar 3” armoured fighting vehicles and carrying out firing practices with infantry weapons. In addition to tactical and weapons training, soldiers also do physical fitness training on a daily basis and are actively involved in the execution of regular activities in the unit.
The goal is to have self-confident and disciplined soldiers whose degree of training and psychophysical skill meets the required standards and who possess the qualities needed to survive on the battlefield and carry out military tasks as part of a squad, crew or team.
This is another generation of soldiers that display tremendous commitment and strong motivation during their training and execution of all other tasks. Some of them will join the ranks of professional members of the Serbian Armed Forces immediately upon completion of military service, since they have already expressed their desire to do so and passed the selection process.
