Visit to Central Logistic Base and Military Geographical Institute
Today, Deputy Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff Lieutenant General Želimir Glišović visited the Command of the Central Logistic Base and the Military Geographical Institute “General Stevan Bošković” in Belgrade.
During the visits he gained immediate insight into the state in these units of the Serbian Armed Forces, the organisation of life and work in them, and the degree of execution of focal tasks.
On this occasion, the hosts informed him about the state and capabilities of the largest logistic unit in the Serbian Armed Forces, the stock levels in troops and outside of them in terms of ordnance, propellant, quartermaster and other assets, and the execution of tasks by logistic functions and measures taken to store material assets, preserve and maintain them in line with the highest standards in this field.
At the Military Geographical Institute, General Glišović was briefed about the capacities for the production of cartographic, graphic, photograph and textual-numerical products in digital and printed forms, the latest developments and current project, as well as the plans for the implementation of geoportal of the Institute on the internal network of the Serbian Armed Forces.
