Minister Vučević attends traditional Christmas reception in East Sarajevo
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević attended tonight the traditional Christmas reception hosted by the Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željka Cvijanović, at the Administrative Centre of the Government of Republika Srpska in East Sarajevo.
The reception was also attended by the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Radovan Višković, representatives of Serbian and Republika Srpska institutions and numerous public figures.
The Serb Presidency member, Cvijanović, welcomed the guests saying that Christmas reminds us of core values that are both Christian and universal in character.
- Values such as love, tolerance, compassion, solidarity and philanthropy transcend the boundaries of a religion or a culture. They are common to different cultures and people all around the world, regardless of their skin colour, religion and nationality. The promotion of these values is of vital importance for the progress and prosperity of multinational and multiconfessional communities such as Bosnia and Herzegovina – said Željka Cvijanović.
The reception was also attended by State Secretary at the Ministry of Defence Nemanja Starović, Head of the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office Žarko Mićin and Head of the Defence Minister’s Office Brigadier General Goran Momčilović, advisors to the Minister of Defence and Deputy Prime Minister, Nikola Banjac and Danica Stanisavljević, and the defence attaché, Lieutenant Colonel Saša Nešić.
