General Mojsilović visits airspace control and protection force
The Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, visited today in the Kragujevac Garrison the members of the missile battery on permanent combat duty, responsible for the control and protection of Serbia’s airspace sovereignty.
Accompanied by the commander of the 250th Air Defence Missile Brigade, unit superior to the missile battery, he inspected the execution of principal tasks and the state of affairs in the unit. He also watched combat teams shift to a higher state of alert.
General Mojsilović was satisfied that the unit was ready and technically qualified and that its members were highly trained and motivated to carry out this important task 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.
In a conversation with the unit members, the Chief of the General Staff praised them for their dedication and professionalism in the execution of all their tasks and wished a Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all Orthodox members of the Serbian Armed Forces. He wished them good health and much happiness in their personal and professional lives.
The Chief of the General Staff was accompanied on today’s tour by the Air Force and Air Defence Commander, Lieutenant General Duško Žarković, heads of the Logistics Directorate (J-4) and Human Resources Directorate (J-1) of the General Staff, Major General Srđan Petković and Brigadier General Savo Iriškić, and the Head of the Office of the Chief of the General Staff, Colonel Slađan Hristov.
