Today, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević attended the display of weapons and military equipment that are going through the final test stage before their introduction into the armament of the Serbian Armed Forces. The display was mounted at the Weapons and Military Equipment Test Centre in Nikinci.
Minister Vučević was met by Assistant Minister of Defence for Material Resources Nenad Miloradović, who briefed him on the weapons and military equipment showcased at today's display.

After the display, Minister Vučević  summed up the year gone by, emphasizing that the Serbian Armed Forces were getting stronger by the day.
- Today, we watched the testing and display of the weapons and military equipment that are to enter service in the Serbian Armed Forces. The Serbian Armed Forces are stronger today than they were yesterday, and throughout the whole year, we worked continuously to make sure that the Serbian defence forces are fully capable of protecting all the citizens of our country and preserving the territorial integrity of our country. I am really proud of all the people who have been involved in this process, from the Serbian Defence Industry to the Material Resources Sector, the Military Technical Institute, the General Staff and the Technical Test Centre. There are a lot of hardworking, dedicated, diligent people there, whose purpose in life is to make sure that our country is safe - stressed Minister Vučević.

Speaking about today's display, Minister Vučević highlighted the importance of the domestic know-how for the security of our country and all its citizens.
  - Today, you could see three models of new sniper rifles produced in Kragujevac by Zastava Arms (Zastava Oružje) and a 30mm gun also produced by Zastava Arms, which few countries in the world have. We could also see a modernized infantry fighting vehicle with a new remotely controlled combat station and a new armoured combat vehicle with a new sighting set that are currently being delivered to the units of the Serbian Armed Forces. We also saw our "killer" drones, which are the work of our hands, and many other new things that should make Serbia safer and more secure and that should send a clear message to everyone saying that Serbia is not an easy target and that they should take their eyes and hands off us - Minister Vučević said.
