Visit to Applied Mathematics and Electronics Centre
Today, the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, accompanied by his associates, visited the Applied Mathematics and Electronics Centre of the Serbian Armed Forces.
During the visit, he learned about the main tasks and facilities of this specialized research and development institution that plays a key role in the cryptographic protection of the telecommunications and information system of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces and other government bodies, and is therefore of great importance for the information security of the Republic of Serbia.General Mojsilović has expressed his satisfaction with the fact that this institution keeps pace with the latest developments in cryptography and comes up with solutions that ensure a good and reliable cryptographic protection of information amidst growing cyber threats, thanks to its highly qualified personnel, who perform their tasks with great dedication.
The Chief of the General Staff was accompanied on his visit by Brigadier General Mile Vitezović, Head of the Telecommunications and IT Directorate of the General Staff (J-6), to which the Centre is directly subordinated.
