Get-together with families of fallen soldiers of 1990s wars



Representatives of the Human Resources Sector, Ministry of Defence, today organized a get-together with the families of the fallen soldiers of the 1990s wars, as part of the Veterans Day celebrations.    

Acting Assistant Minister for Human Resources Siniša Radović attended today’s get-together, which was co-organized by the Association of the Families of the Fallen Soldiers of the 1990s Wars. 

The aim of the activity was to keep up military traditions, foster the culture of remembrance for military veterans and maintain the relationship with family members of the fallen Serbian servicemen.   

Members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces and family members of the fallen Serbian servicemen first attended the mass for the fallen soldiers celebrated by the military chaplain Lt Col Slađan Vlajić in St. Mark’s Church in Tašmajdan, following which they visited the Military Museum and had lunch together in the Central Military Club.

As a token of appreciation for today’s get-together, the president of the assembly of the Association of Fallen Soldiers of the 1990s Wars, Zora Nikitović, presented a certificate of appreciation to the Human Resources Sector, Ministry of Defence.
