Minister Vučević meets with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Nurtleu
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević met today with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu.
During the meeting, a Military-Technical Cooperation Agreement was signed between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On that occasion, Minister Vučević expressed his gratitude to the Republic of Kazakhstan for its principled and consistent support for the preservation of sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia.
He emphasized that the long-term strategic commitment of the Republic of Serbia was to pursue an independent foreign policy and that the Government of the Republic of Serbia, despite all the challenges, would continue to pursue a responsible policy of peace and cooperation, determined to comply with international law and fully implement agreements reached so far.
Minister Nurtleu thanked Minister Vučević for his hospitality and the opportunity to discuss the topics of importance for the cooperation between the two countries. He proudly emphasized the fact that he was the first Kazakhstani minister to pay an official visit to the Republic of Serbia.
Friendly relations between the two countries, he said, are an excellent prerequisite for implementing joint projects in various fields, and defence cooperation will further strengthen overall relations between the two countries.
